How soon can I get results from the Strep A rapid test?

Positive results can be read at 5 minutes, while negative results should be confirmed at 10 minutes. Do not interpret results after 10 minutes.

Can this Strep A test be used with transport swabs?

Yes – transport swabs containing modified stuart's or Amies medium are compatible with this rapid test.

What if the test line is faint?

Any visible shade of color in the Test line (T) indicates a positive result, as intensity varies with the concentration of Group A Streptococcus antigen in the specimen.

Does the test distinguish between Strep A and other Streptococcus groups?

Yes – this Strep A antigen rapid test specifically detects Group A Streptococcus antigen and does not cross-react with other Streptococcus groups (B/C/F/G).
